Visit the famous Florence Duomo, made up of two domes connected in the shape of a warhead. A wonderful octagonal dome built between 1418 and 1434 to the design of Filippo Brunelleschi. A masterpiece capable of enchanting those who admire it from near and far!
Giotto's Campanile is the bell tower of Santa Maria del Fiore, Florence's Cathedral. Admire this tower of 84.70 meters high and covered in white, red and green marble like the ones that adorn the Cathedral. Giotto's bell tower houses twelve bells and is considered the most beautiful in Italy.
The Museo dell'Opera del Duomo with the largest concentration of Florentine sculpture in the world: medieval and Renaissance statues and reliefs in marble, bronze and silver and the baptistery of San Giovanni, place of investiture of knights and poets, as Dante Alighieri remembers in the Paradise of the Divine Comedy.
Beneath the Florence Cathedral is the Basilica of Santa Reparata, unearthed between 1965 and 1973 after a major excavation campaign. Now just over two and a half meters separate us from the ancient Florentine paleo-Christian basilica, also known as the Crypt, restored several times and also used as a meeting place for the Parliament of the Republic before the construction of the Palazzo Vecchio.
