A complete experience in one of the most fascinating areas of Tuscany, known all over the world for its wine and its incomparably charming landscape, where woods alternate with vineyards and olive groves, in a landscape dotted with Romanesque parish churches, farmhouses, villas and castles of rare beauty.
The first stop of the tour is in the heart of Florentine Chianti Classico, in a small and cosy winery where the owner will tell you the secrets of wine making and you will enjoy a delicious wine tasting accompanied by local products. 
The tour continues to the picturesque medieval village of Greve, where every year the most important wine fair of the Chianti region takes place. Here you will have free time to admire the famous main square with its characteristic arcades and wander around the local craft shops. Moving along the historic "Via Chiantigiana", we will cross the area of Sienese Chianti Classico, admiring the breathtaking views of the hills that made this part of Tuscany so famous, before arriving at a family-run winery, which stands out for the excellent quality of its wines. 
You will be warmly welcomed by a passionate oenologist and after the guided tour of the cellars and the garden, you will enjoy a delicious tasting of four different wines and local products. 
The last stop of the Tour is Castellina, a fortified hilltop village of Etruscan origin, among the most picturesque of Chianti, characterised by an imposing fortress: Here, walking along the picturesque medieval covered street "Via delle Volte", the tour leader will guide us to discover the charming historical centre and its picturesque houses, squares and shops.

Meeting point

The meeting point will be at the bus terminal in Piazzale Montelungo. Piazzale Montelungo is a 5-10 minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station. 
Look for the staff wearing blue clothing at the end of the ramp connecting with the railway station.
Remember to arrive 15 minutes before the starting time of the tour.
