Deepen the knowledge of your favorite works following the explanations of the guide.
Take a walk among the luxurious halls admiring the masterpieces of Canova, Caravaggio and many others!

Discover one of Rome’s most fascinating art collections with a guided tour of the Borghese Gallery, home to masterpieces by Bernini, Caravaggio, Canova, Raphael and other great Italian artists. Set in the beautiful gardens of Villa Borghese, this elegant historic residence was once home to Cardinal Scipione Borghese, a passionate art collector and patron who brought together an extraordinary collection of Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces.

Accompanied by a professional local guide, explore the gallery’s beautifully decorated rooms and discover the stories behind its most celebrated works of art. Admire Bernini’s remarkable sculptures, including Apollo and Daphne, The Rape of Proserpina and David, where marble seems to come to life. Be captivated by the elegance of Canova’s Pauline Bonaparte as Venus Victrix and the paintings of Caravaggio, Raphael, Titian and Correggio. Your guide will share fascinating details about the artists, their techniques and the history of the Borghese family, helping you discover and appreciate each masterpiece.

After the tour, take some time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Villa Borghese. Wander along its tree-lined paths, relax in the gardens or enjoy a pleasant twenty-minute walk to the Pincio Terrace, one of Rome’s most scenic viewpoints. A lovely way to combine art, history and the beauty of Rome in one memorable experience.
