Be transported back in time with a visit to the Egyptian Museum

On this tour, you will discover the history of Turin while strolling through the most beautiful squares of the city: the elegant Piazza San Carlo and Piazza Castello with its historic cafés. You will visit the Royal Palace, the former residence of the Savoy family, the scene of the life and politics of the Savoy family for more than three centuries. The palace is located in the heart of Turin and is the symbol of the supremacy of the Italian royal family. Then you will admire the Mole Antonelliana from the outside, which takes its name from the architect who built it, Alessandro Antonelli. Between 1889 and 1908 it was the tallest building in the world, with a height of 167.5 metres, and since 2000 it has been home to the Cinema Museum. Finally, you can immerse yourself in the past by visiting the Egyptian Museum, the oldest museum dedicated entirely to Ancient Egypt, considered the most important in the world in terms of the quality and value of the pieces on display, after the one in Cairo. Inside you will admire the statue of Ramses II, the statues of the goddesses Isis and Sekhmet, the Papyrus of the Gold Mines, the Tomb of Maia and much more.

PLEASE NOTE: the visit to the Shroud of Turin is not included in this tour.
