The Galleria di Arte Moderna di Verona, known as GAM, is located inside the Palazzo della Ragione, which was renovated thanks to the bequest that the wealthy bourgeois botanist Achille Forti made to the city of Verona for this very purpose; in fact, the Gallery is dedicated to him.
The collection of this important museum includes around 1,600 works spanning a period from the early 19th century to the present day and includes, among others, Francesco Hayez's Meditation and Pompeo Marino Molmenti's painting dedicated to Pia dei Tolomei.

Where to pick up your ticket
